10 Stocking Filler Ideas Under £10

Hey my lovelies, hope you're all well and welcome back to another Christmas blog post! I asked over on my Instagram whether you would prefer a '10 Stocking Filler Ideas Under £10' or 'Xmas Books Wishlist' post and it was pretty much a 50/50 split. I'm planning on getting both of these to you in post form before Christmas, but in the meantime I will be sharing my Christmas book wishlist with you all on my stories on IG stories so make sure you're following me over there if this is something you're interested in (@faithtrustandlotsofbooks)! Personally, I think the ideas in this post work for both men/women, and can be tailored to the person you're creating a stocking for this year. Without further ado, I hope you've all got your cups of coffee and biscuits at the ready as I provide you with my top 10 stocking filler ideas for £10 and under.

πŸŽ„ Chocolate/Sweets - Now if you don't get your favourite chocolates/sweets/food in your stocking then there is seriously something wrong. Christmas time is for indulging in all of our favourite things, including food. So, if you are creating a stocking for someone this year, then make sure you've got their favourite snacks in there. For example, I love Thorntons Alpini chocolates, and it has become a tradition for me and my Mom to only receive these at Christmas or on Birthdays. I also put my boyfriends favourite protein bars in his stocking which he loves!

πŸŽ„ Candle - A gift that has made it onto both my Christmas gift guide and stocking filler ideas. Candles come in all shapes and sizes and vary in price depending on where you get them from, so a smaller candle from Yankee or places like B&M/Primark make lovely stocking filler presents. You could also put a reusable lighter in their stocking as well. Very practical and useful, but still an ideal gift!

πŸŽ„ Socks/Fluffy Socks - Again, Christmas is the best time to refresh our sock drawers. Now I know people moan about receiving socks for Christmas, but if you can find me one person who doesn't love fluffy socks in their stocking, male or female, then I will eat my words. Whether you stock your loved ones up on their everyday trainer socks, get them some branded ones like Nike or Adidas, or Primark's classic fluffy socks, they're a great filler.

πŸŽ„ Lip Balm - Something sweet and small to add to your stockings. You can either go for the classic Carmex or Vaseline, or maybe treat your loved ones to something a bit more fancy like the Glossier Balm Dotcom or a gift set like the Ted Baker Lip Balm Trio, lip balm is both an ideal gift and useful present. I don't know about you, but I don't want to spend my money on new lip balm all of the time, and during the winter months my lips get so dry that it's an essential in my makeup bag!

πŸŽ„ Facemasks - Another ideal presents to fill the gaps in those stockings. Whether these are sheet, clay or  cream masks, I think they're a lovely gift to receive and not one we often treat ourselves to throughout the year. Personally, I love the L'Oreal Clay Masks or Garnier Sheet Masks, but I have always wanted to try the Super Facialist Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Clay Mask, and they all cost less than £10! You could also pick up some under eye masks, like the Garnier or Simple ones as they're even cheaper under £5!

πŸŽ„ Bath Bomb - Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with a good bath bomb. Lush ones are my absolute favourites and I always feel like they're a lovely treat and not one I indulge in very often, so I always make sure I have one of those on my Christmas list. Even if your loved one isn't a lover of baths, just treating them to some luxurious bathroom products or their favourite shampoo and conditioner are great ideas for their stocking.

πŸŽ„ 2021 Diary - Something everyone needs but not one we want to spend our own money on is a diary for the upcoming new year. Whether this be a classic pocket diary (which you can get really cheap from places like the Card Factory), or if your family member has a reusable diary such as a Filofax that you can buy their 2021 infills for, they're practical gifts. Or, you could get your loved ones a personalised diary this year, online shops like Papier do lovely stationary gifts which you can use as stocking fillers.

πŸŽ„ Christmas PJ's - Like candles, PJ's and slippers made it on to my 2020 Christmas gift guide. However, this all depends on your budget, as you can spend both a little and a lot on gifts like PJ's and slippers. Either way, they make lovely gifts whether you decide to use them as stocking fillers or otherwise. Primark are always the best for their nightwear and it's so affordable, with most of their Pyjama sets coming in at under £10 and their slippers averaging at £4, their ideal if your loved one needs a nightwear refresh ready for the new year.

πŸŽ„ Jewellery - A gift for both him and her this Christmas. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets can all be wrapped lovely and placed in your loved ones stockings. My favourite jewellery brands at the minute are PRYA and Bohomoon online, but I don't think you can go wrong with Primark necklaces and earrings if you know your loved one wears them often. River Island menswear always do lovely jewellery accessories for men as well which are really affordable and often under £10.

πŸŽ„ Card Games - What is Christmas without a good old card or board game? If you know your loved one is all into the Christmas game tradition why not treat them to a new card game in their stocking? Waterstones are often really good for game gifts and have some really unusual ones. Me and my family love a good game of Uno or Top Trumps, so you could always pick up one of those if you think your family member would enjoy it.

πŸŽ„ Photographs - Something small and personal that you can do as a stocking filler. You can get free photos printed on apps like Freeprints and Snapfish, and can even get these printed in polaroid film which would be so cute if your family member is looking to decorate their room with new photos or likes scrapbooking. Freeprints also allow you to create affordable photobooks, which you can personalise and decorate in so many different ways and normally cost under £10. I've used these as stocking filler presents in the past and they are such a lovely, personalised gift to send.

So there we go my lovelies, my top 10 stocking filler ideas for this Christmas. Honestly, I think opening my stocking first thing on Christmas morning is one of my favourite things to do, I love all of the little presents in there and think you can utilise stockings for useful and practical gifts which are greatly appreciated by your loved ones. I hope you've all enjoyed today's post and if you have any affordable, stocking filler ideas yourself then please leave them in the comments below or over on my Instagram. I'll see you all next week for my mid-month December catch-up and countdown to Christmas blog post and sending you lots of virtual hugs wherever you may be. Lots of love xoxo
