February #wrapup

Hey my lovelies, hope you are all well and welcome back to another Friday blog post! Can you believe it's the end of February already? I feel like this month has gone SUPER quick and the fact we're already in March is just crazy. With the end of the month brings a new #wrapup post, where I round-up everything I've done this month and my plans for the next.

Books I Read This Month

This month was a slightly slower reading month compared to January, but I still managed to get through a couple of book that have been on my #tbr for some time now. First off was Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. If you've read my review then you'll know this one just missed the mark for me and I was left feeling a little... underwhelmed. Next up was My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell, which I read as a buddy read. My review of this went up earlier this week and let's just say, I was left with more questions than answers. An incredibly insightful read and one I would recommend to anyone who was considering reading it. Make sure to check out my book reviews if you want to hear my in-depth thoughts on both of these.

#FEBRUREELS | A Reel Every Friday of February

So with this post comes the final instalment of my #februreels series over on my Instagram. I have loved creating reels this month and getting more creative with my content. I've also tried integrating more lifestyle, beauty and fashion content into my feed with these reels and have really enjoyed mixing it up and introducing these new sections to my Instagram. It would mean the world if you could go over and give them a watch if you haven't already!

March Content - #faithtrustandmarchbooks

I always think March is a month filled with hope. Hope for lighter evenings, warmer weather, new spring life, fresh leaves on the trees and flowers spouting from the ground. Especially with this new "road map out of lockdown", I think people will see March as a pathway to a fresh start. It's also my Birthday month, which happens to be on International Women's Day (it doesn't get much better than that!), so that's also something for me to look forward to. Despite my Birthday being in lockdown this year, I am hopeful I will be able to celebrate with my family and friends soon.

So, to commemorate March and the start of Spring, I have decided to create my own bookstagram challenge, consisting of a photo prompt for each day in March. The graphic will be at the end of the this post and over on my Instagram in the next couple of days, but if you would like to take part with any of these prompts (you don't have to do it everyday, you can pick and choose what you want to post and when) then make sure to use the hashtag #faithtrustandmarchbooks so I can like and share your photos!

500 Followers Giveaway

Another exciting thing which comes with the start of a new month, is that I am hosting a giveaway over on my Instagram to thank you all for 500 followers! It was only at the end of January that I reached 300 followers, so I am super grateful for all the love and support that I have received over the last month. If you would like to enter for the chance of winning a book up to the value of £10 off of your wishlist, then keep your eyes peeled on Monday for the post and make sure you like, save and share it, and follow me over there 👀. The giveaway will run until 10th March when I will draw the winner!

So there we go my loves, that's a wrap-up for February and my plans for the month ahead. I'm excited for March and the exciting things it brings, including those lighter evenings and longer days. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled over on my Instagram for my giveaway post and make sure to enter. I'll see you all next week for another blog post! Lots of love xoxo
